<p>PURPOSE:To estabilish speed photo couplers, less in the deficient ratio and excellent in massproduction. CONSTITUTION:The parts other than the photo detection diode 5 and the bonding wire pad 11 are covered with opaque film 10, e.g. alumino forming film. As a result, even if the light emitting diode is placed just above the photo detection diode 5, no adverse effect by light is given to the element other than the photo detection diode 5, allowing to use optimizingly the input electrode and to reduce the area of the photo detection diode D2, and to achieve the high speed of photo coupler. As the opaque fimlm 10, black precoated resin is used to increase the photo shield effect.</p> |
