PURPOSE:To provide a transfer product of fresh color tone and high rigidity by forming on a substrate sheet, such as (processed) paper and cellophance, a pattern layer including a binder, a colorant poor in thermal transfer property, and an alkali agent for enhancing the thermal transfer property of the colorant. CONSTITUTION:On a substrate sheet such as (processed) paper, cellophane, and synthetic resin film, there is formed a single- or multi-color pattern layer by use of an ink or paint composition including a binder (e.g. ethyl cellulose), a colorant poor in thermal transfer property (e.g. basic dye), and an alkali agent (e.g. Na2CO3) for enhancing the thermal transfer property of the colorant, by usual printing or coating method. This constitution enables the colorants which have rarely been used to be applicable to sublimation transfer process and broadens the range of use of substrates on which patterns are transfered. |
