PURPOSE:To obtain a television receiver which suits to the application of a simultaneous view of two different channels, by equipping a transmitter which sends out a control signal for channel switching corresponding to the state of a manual channel selection switch. CONSTITUTION:Portable television receiver 1 equipped with miniature black-and- white Braun tube 2 has the incorpoorated transmitter which generates a remote operation signal for the assignment of the same channel that manual channel selection switch group 3 assigns and sends out this signal from converter 5 only with instruction switch 4 depressed. Color television receiver 6 with relatively-large color Braun tube 7 is provided with channel selection switch group 8 and the channel switching is controlled by the remote operation signal arriving at converter 9. |
