PURPOSE:To obtain a composite object of pottery and foamed resin which has dew preventing and freeze preventing effect when used for a sanitary ware water tank, etc., by setting the pottery and a die via a preformed thermoplastic resin part, heat-foaming and fitting the resing tightly to the pottery. CONSTITUTION:To 100 weight parts of thermoplastic resin, 0.5-30 weight parts of foaming agent and other adding agent if desired are mixed, and the thermoplastic resin compound is preformed being heated to a temperature under the decomposing temperature of the foaming agent. A die is preheated to 80-160 deg.C and a ceramic ware is to 160-250 deg.C, and they are set placing said preformed part between them, and heating this set to 240-350 deg.C, the preformed compound is foamed and fitted closely to the ceramic ware. By removing the die from the set after cooled, a composite object of the ceramic ware and foamed thermoplastic resin is obtained. |
