In the air-delivery machine, the casing (15) surrounding the centrifugal impeller (11) is of a barrel-like design and at its open end has a flanged rim (26) designed for wall-mounting. Said flanged rim is fastened to a building wall (27) by means of washers (29) and screws (30) parallel to and at a distance from said wall in such a way that there is formed, between the flanged rim (26) and the building wall (27), an annular gap-shaped outlet opening (28) for delivered air. This design results in a low outlet rate and thus reduced noise. <IMAGE>
