Procedure for minimising or eliminating noise and air pollution cause by one or more stone drilling machines by which air exhausted by the machines is guided through a collector into a cyclon in which the noise of the expanding air is damped and matter polluting the air separated. In the inlet part of the collector is positioned a nozzle through which a part of air exhausted by he machines is injected in the collector which has the form of an ejector. The air ejected by the collector draws the remainder of the air exhausted by the machines in the cyclone. The air leaving the cyclon is additionally filtered by passing it through filters.
