<p>The sun visor for the exterior rear view mirror of a vehicle has a contoured cylindrical surface and a fixing groove. The sun visor fits along the top and part way down the sides of the rear view mirror. The sun visor is made from an opaque, elastic plastics material, with reinforcing ribs on its inside. It forms a hood over the mirror surface directed towards the rear. It is also inclined slightly above the horizontal, so as to preserve the line of sight of the driver. A fixing strip runs from one edge of the visor around the bottom of the mirror to a hook on the other side.</p> |
