<p>PURPOSE:To detect signals with a high precision by detecting the amplitude peak- to-peak value level and distance information at the amplitude peak-to-peak value point synchronously with the amplitude peak-to-peak value point of receiving pulses at a signal detection time in a pulse radar unit. CONSTITUTION:Receiving signal a is made into binary signal b by a slicer, and timing pulses d and e are generated from clock pulse c. Receiving signals are qantized to f by timing pulses d and e, and receiving signal a and quantized signal f are compared with each other by a level comparator, and timing signal g is generated from timing signal e only when receiving signal a is larger than signal f. The receiving level is stored in i by this signal g to obtain amplitude peak-to-peak value data. Then, distance information loaded by the final pulse of signal g becomes a distance indicating the peak-to-peak value point.</p> |
