<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being cut due to a sudden stop by changing a take-up tape speed over to a low speed on detecting rewind of a take-up reel approaching the end as to a batch take-up system tape transcriber. CONSTITUTION:To stop suddenly a tape running at a high take-up tape speed, the torque of a driving motor should extremely be large and the tape may be cut off. Master tape 2 and slave tape 4 are both wound around take-up reel 13 at a high speed and when diameter DM of master tape supply reel 1 becomes below set diameter DMS or diameter DS of the slave tape supply reel becomes below set diameter DSS, switching to a low-speed mode is done; and then the trailer part is detected and the rewind is stopped, so that the run of the tape can be stopped smothly and stably. The switching of the speed is also done when the total number of rotations T of the take-up reel reaches the 3rd or 4th set values.</p> |
