PURPOSE:To provide an amino acid transfusion for cancerous patient, containing essential amino acids other than methionine, and having cancer cell-decreasing or carcinostatic effect. CONSTITUTION:An amino acid transfusion devoid of methionine. Especially a transfusion containing leucine, isoleucine, lysine, phenylalanine, threonine and tryptophane. The known amino acid transfusion is nutrient to the cancer cells as well as the normal cells, and is not effective to the increase in weight or the improvement of the condition of the patient. In contrast with the above, the transfusion free of methionine suppresses the proliferation of cancer cells selectively, and is effective to the increase in weight, etc. |
