The invention relates to a method for producing a closed container (3) filled with foodstuffs and sealing off an internal space (1) with respect to the surroundings (2) from at least one flat composite (7) having at least one edge (4), including the steps of: a) providing the flat composite (7), containing a1. at least one outer cross-linked colored plastic layer (9) containing a colorant (20); a2. a carrier layer (6); and a3. a thermoplastic layer (37); b) shaping the flat composite (7), obtaining an open container (14), wherein the colored plastic layer (9) faces the surroundings (2) and the plastic layer (37) faces the internal space (1); c) filling the open container (14) with a foodstuff; d) closing the open container (14), obtaining the closed, filled container (3); e) preserving the foodstuff in the closed filled container (3) in a pressure chamber at a chamber pressure of more than 1 bar at a temperature in a range from more than 100 to 140°C in the presence of steam. |
