<p>The calculator for blood alcohol forms part of a wrist watch. The calculator is based on a rim (4) surrounding the watch which is set according to the users body weight and to the amount of alcohol consumed, the rim being calibrated in grams of alcohol per litre of blood. The range 0 to 1.2 gm/1 may have a differentiated section of 0.8 and 1.2 gm/1 differentiated by being a red scale area. The rim is rotatable has a milled edge to allow easy adjustment and an outer index (8) the user setting it to the amount of alcohol consumed, the watch hands then indicating the progressive level of blood alcohol. A simplified table showing the user's body weight against alcohol consumed may be inscribed on the watch bracelet.</p> |
