PURPOSE:Title device in which only for a predetermined period of time after start and before stop and on minute movement, the constant speed revolution is transmitted from the main part directly to the back roller, thus expelling adverse effects caused by the uneveness-modification function when the revolution suddenly changes. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic clutch 21 connecting to the main part is interposed in transmission device 13 for back roller 10 driven by motor M. On starting, both rollers 10 and 11 for draft modification are made to revolve quite synchromatically for a prescribed time after the start was commanded and further, after the stopping was commanded, both rollers 10, 11 are made quite synchromatically until they stop completely so that the delayed starting or stopping of the back roller 10 are completely prevented. Thereby the cutting on starting and slacking on stopping of the sliver are prevented. |
