PURPOSE:To omit the installation of the external memory unit to the exchange and thus realize the miniaturization of the exchange by transmitting the input information to the processor of the exchange via the processor of the maintenance unit and then receiving the output information from the exchange for display or memorization. CONSTITUTION:Processor 3 of maintenance unit 7 carries out the program read out and then transmits for storage the information to be sent to exchange 10 to information transmission/reception circuit 5. Then the information stored in circuit 5 is sent to information transmission/reception circuit 7 of exchange 10 via cable 6 to be stored there, and then the information stored in circuit 7 is transmitted to circuit 5 of unit 9 to be stored there. On the other hand, processor 3 of unit 9 identifies that the information sent from exchange 10 is stored in circuit 5, and then reads out the information to transmit it to output information display circuit 2 or memory circuit 4. In such way, the processing load is reduced for processor 8 of exchange 10 along with omission of the external memory unit to be provided to the exchange, thus realizing the miniaturization of the exchange. |
