<p>PURPOSE:A black ink with good solubility, long-term stability and low toxicity, consisting of a specific trisazo dye and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A trisazo dye of the formula I and/or II is dissolved in a solvent consisting of water as major component and other components, such as glycol, glycol ether, or glycol ether ester, alone or in mixture, which are miscible with water in any proportion and have high powers to dissolve the trisazo dye and also to suppress the vaporization of ink as well as have an appropriate hygroscopicity and high boiling point. In addition, a viscosity regulator, an antiseptic, a pH regulator, a substance which improves the solubility, such as urea, and other water-soluble dyes for obtaining a desired tint may be added.</p> |
