PURPOSE:To sterillize miscellaneous bacteria to prevent degeneration of ink by suppling ink caught by a catcher and recovered to an ink tank to an ink head through a sterillizer. CONSTITUTION:Between an ink tank 7 and a filter 9 there is provided a wide and thin transparent tube 12. A ultraviolet sterillizing lamp 13 is provided in the proximity of the transparent tube 12. In order to dissipate heat generated from the ultraviolet sterillizing lamp 13, there is provided a cooling fan 14. Since the device is constituted as described above, the ink recovered in the catcher and accommodated in the ink tank 7 passes through the sterillizer provided with the ultraviolet sterillizing lamp. For this reason, miscelleneous bacteria adhering to ink drops while flying in air are killed effectively, whereby degeneration of ink is prevented. |
