The copying machine has an infinite photo-conducting belt, which will form electrostatic images. The bolt is conveyed along rollers through a magazine, where the charged surface comes into contact with reversing rollers. The uncharged surface comes into contact with a second set of rollers in the magazine. Every series of reversal rollers contains one set of three rollers where consecutive rollers looked at in the direction of motion of the belt are grouped such as to touch a support roller. The tangent between the support roller and one roller of each set is at right angles to the direction of motion of the belt from one series to the next.
