PURPOSE:A treating agent which, when applied to a record-reproductive material, prevents dust adhesion and scratch noises, prepared by dissolving in a solvent a fluorinated surfactant containing a polyfluoroalkyl group and adding a small amount of a polyfluorinated organic compound to the resulting solution. CONSTITUTION:A cationic or amphoteric fluorinated surfactant containing a polyfluoroalkyl group is dissolved in a solvent, b.p. 20-100 deg.C, which dissolves said fluorinated surfactant and is inert to the surface of a record-reproductive material so that a solution having a concentration of below 1wt% is obtained. To the solution is added a small amount, pref., below 1wt%, of a polyfluorinated organic compound, b.p. >=110 deg.C, m.p. <=150 deg.C, having a solubility in water at normal temperature, of below 0.5%. Examples of the fluorinated surfactnat which can be used include those which contain polyfluoroalkyl groups of 4-20 C. Preferably, the polyfluoroalkyl groups are perfluoroalkyl groups. |
