A boat hull has an outside which is made from a number of large surface elements A and smaller surface elements B, all of which are elongate. Each of the larger surface elements A is assigned a smaller surface element B which adjoins a long side of the larger surface element and is substantially at right angles to the latter. Seen from the underside of the boat hull, the larger surface elements A form a V-shaped pattern on both halves of the hull, the tip of the V-shape being directed towards the stern. The smaller surface element B adjoins the aft edge of the larger element A and has its outside directed towards the stern. The boat hull can be made up of band- like elements of metal which are joined together by welds 6. <IMAGE> |
