PURPOSE:To obtain a specific gravity detector for electrolyte, having high vibrating resistance and a three-step detection capability, by providing small holes in the upper and lower positions of a resistor in the middle of a key and also by fitting two ring-like floats vertically moving in response to changes in specific gravity to the periphery of an insulation in a detection electrode. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of the detector 1 connected with a resistor or the diode 2 at its middle is covered with the insulation 3, and the side of the insulation 3 is provided with the small holes 7 and 8 at the upper and lower positions of the resistor 2 so as to reach to the detection electrodes 1' and 1'', respectively. And, the periphery of the insulation 3 is fitted with the ring-like floats 10 and 11 vertically moving when the specific gravity of the electrolyte 6 deviates from a fixed value and also isolating the electrode 1 from the electrolyte by blocking the small holes 7 and 8 when the specific gravity is normal. Thus, a vibration-resistant detector which is capable of detecting the normalcy of the specific gravity when no current flows in the electrode 1, a warning when small current flows from the electrode 1' through the resistor 2, and a charge requirement when a large current flows through the electrodes 1' and 1'' can be obtained. |
