PURPOSE:A cavity composition having the improved preventive effect of rhyparia formation and high safety, obtained by adding 4,6-dioxyglucose and/or 1-O-methyl- 4,6-dioxyglucose to a composition of oral cavity. CONSTITUTION:0.0001-1, preferably 0.001-0.1wt% of 4,6-dioxyglucose and/or 1-O-methyl-4,6-dioxyglucose based on a total amount of a composition of oral cavity is added to the composition. The glucose derivatives have improved antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans, a main bacterium in the oral cavity and prevent formation of rhyparia. The prepared oral cavity composition has high safety free from the problems of bacterium change phenomenon and antigenicity. It can be formed by pharmaceutical manufacturing into toothpaste, oral cavity cleaner, dermatological paste, troche, etc. for use. |
