<p>PURPOSE:To make small the size of unit, by providing a pair of tape guides guiding the magnetic tape parallelly from the two points of the external circumference of capstan and a pair of the second tape guides constituting the path of small distance passing through the head. CONSTITUTION:The guide mechanism of the magnetic tape carrying unit consists of the guide base 11 of plate shape fixed at the side of the capstan 1, outer guide blocks 12, 13 fixed at both sides, inner guide block 17 fixed on the guide space 11 similarly in the guide blocks 12, 13 and the capstan 1 and a pair of tape guides 19 to make stable running of the magnetic tape passing in front of the magnetic head 14. With this constitution, the tape path can be shortened in comparison with the capstan 1 diameter and the guide set can entirely be made small in size.</p> |
