PURPOSE:To widely simplify the manufacturing method of a face plate structural unit for a tube, by consistently forming its constitutional parts on the face plate. CONSTITUTION:In the vicinity of the circumferential edge part of a face plate 1, a signal take-off conductor 11 is sealed, and on the central part a stripe-shaped color filter 2 is formed. Then a thin film glass 3 is adhesively attached and a hole 12 is drilled. Successively on the thin film glass 3 a transparent conductive film 4 is formed through a sedimentary glass 13. The striped transparent conductive film 4 is connected to a conductor wiring 5 and signal pick-up part 6. A picture signal can be taken out to the outside of a tube by the signal pick-up part 6 and the signal take-off conductor 11 which are connected to the conductor 5. |
