PROTEINACEOUS ADHESIVE COMPOSITION WITH LOWER ALKYL ALCOHOLS A proteinaceous adhesive composition in which a dry mix comprised of protein and solubilizing agents is mixed with an aqueous solution of a lower alkyl alcohol at the time of use. The adhesive composition is especially useful in joining untreated and fire-retardant-treated Porous substrates and provides advantages of good bond strength and/or increased assembly time.
