A broadband antenna for a mobile terminal comprises a grounding assembly, a disc patch, at least one short-circuit probe, and a signal feed-in assembly. An open groove is formed in the disc patch. The disc patch is connected to the grounding assembly by means of the at least one short-circuit probe. The disc patch is connected to the mobile terminal by means of the signal feed-in assembly. The signal feed-in assembly is connected to the grounding assembly. In the broadband antenna, a resonant feature of the antenna can be adjusted to match an impedance by forming an open groove on the disc patch and using a short-circuit probe, double resonances are formed, accordingly the bandwidth is expanded; and the structure is simple, and is easy to implement. |
