PURPOSE:To make it possible to grasp the changed contents of the counter by not only visual but also aural sense, and also perform the timing control exactly and rapidly, by generating the contents of the counter as a voice in the course of timing control. CONSTITUTION:This clock is equipped with the counters 5-8 which count time in accordance with the time signal, the code transducer 14 which changes the contents of a prescribed time unit by providing a time control signal to the above counters, the circuits 9-12 which select at least a part of the contents of each counter, the voice composite device 13 which converts the selected contents to a voice signal, and the speaker 15 which generates a voice in accordance with the voice signal. And the time control can be made by turning off the switch 57. The pulses generated in the output terminal Q1 of the timing pulse generation circuit 16 write the time counting data from the counters 5-8 in the latch circuits 9-12. The time counting data is transduced 14 to a code by generation of pulses of the aforesaid terminal Q1, and also it is transduced 13 to a voice signal, which is provided to the speaker 15. |
