PURPOSE:To shorten the useless time up to the start of transmission by setting the volume of written information in the beginning and then by gradually increasing it as to a data transmission system that writes and read data in and from buffer memories by turns. CONSTITUTION:Data transmitted from information source 1 are written in either buffer memories 2 and 3 at a high speed with a write clock supplied from clock generating circuit 4 through the switching of gate circuits 5 and 6 under the control of control circuit 7. Here, write control counter 12 connected to control circuit 7 is previously supplied with a preset value from presetting circuit 15 and this value is so set that it is small in the beginning of operation and then increases gradually. Therefore, a buffer memory is not written fully to its maximum at the start of transmission and another buffer memory is written as a substitute being switched, so that the 1st buffer memory can immediately be read. |
