The present invention relates to a single chamber type coating and baking apparatus. The apparatus is comprised of a chamber having openings on the ceiling part and on the floor part. A unit is connected with one of the openings on the floor part for discharging the air in the chamber. A generator is provided for generating hot air. A unit is provided for returning the air in the chamber to the hot air generator, one end of the unit being connected with the inlet side of the generator, the other end being connected with the other opening on the floor part of said chamber. A unit is provided for sending the air into the chamber. This unit is connected at the end to the outlet side of the generator and at the other end to the opening of the ceiling part of said chamber.
