PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse effect of noise included in the picture data on the reproduced picture, by taking the representing data constituting the mosaic unit as average value of a plurality of picture data. CONSTITUTION:The representing data constituting the mosaic unit in the video constitution through the readout of picture data stored in the video memory section 14 is taken as the representing data for the corresponding mosaic unit, by selecting a plurality of dots adjacent in one mosaic unit and obtaining the average value of the data value given to each dot. Thus, the effect of noise can be suppressed. To obtain the average value of a plurality of dots, it can be achieved by providing the average circuit between the P/S conversion section 16 and the D/A conversion section 17. |
