PURPOSE:To perform locally function check between input and output devices through no central processing unit, by setting the same device address to both devices. CONSTITUTION:In case that the input device transmits data, the output address of address generating circuit 201 is converted to a serial signal and is transmitted to signal line 5 when address/data selecting circuit 203 is set to the address side. Next, selecting circuit 203 is switched to the data side to transmit data of device control circuit 200 to signal line 5. The output device receives address + data from signal line 5. The received address and the output address of address generating circuit 301 of the output device are given to address discriminating circuit 303, and coincidence between them is detected. If it is detected, device control circuit 300 in the output side receives succeeding data and processes it. |
