<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous printing and malfunctions in the operation control unit, by stopping voltage supply to the printer when the voltage of the battery is lowered to a level or less at a printing motor start time. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of battery 13 is supplied to the voltage level detecting circuit also. Voltage level detecting circuit 14 detects the output voltage level of battery 13 only when voltage level detection pulses are sent from CPU2, and circuit 14 sends a normalcy detection pulse to CPU2 only when the output voltage level is a prescribed level or more. If the output voltage level is the prescribed level or less and no normalcy detection pulse is sent from voltage detecting circuit 14, CPU2 stops the driving voltage supply operation to printing motor 8 by the motor driving signal.</p> |
