<p>PURPOSE:To provide possibility of easy and secure maintenance and inspection work on a motor pump unit by accommodating the unit in a mobile housing equipped with a lid to open and close the bottom and blocking the tank opening with this mobile housing. CONSTITUTION:To take out a motor pump unit 18, mounted on a foundation 58 in a tank 10, from the tank 10, the unit 18 is drawn up with a winch device 48. A mobile housing 20 accommodating the unit 18 is at this time drawn up together with the unit 18. After the housing 20 butts against the opening of fixed housing 14, the unit 18 is further drawn up to allow a lid 30 to block the lower end of the housing 20 against a spring 36. Then, a noncombustible gas is introduced into the tank 10 from a supply hole 80 through a check valve 41 installed on the housing 20, to fill said tank 10. Finally, the lid 16 is taken off and the unit 18 is taken out.</p> |
