PURPOSE:To improve the read efficiency by inhibiting read-out in the event of the repeat processing, and execute the read processing when a new each commodity department key has been depressed. CONSTITUTION:When the each commodity department key concerned has been depressed for each commodity, and the output of the keyboard 3 has been provided to the key detection circuit 4, it is decided whether said key is same as the each department key of the previous time or not. In case when the present each department key is different from that of the previous time, the read-out FF6 is set, and a read-out request bit is set. This each department key is tranferred to the control circuit 5, as well. When the output of this FF6 and the signal showing the department from the circuit 5 are sent to the host cash register, the data is sent to the circuit 5. This data is sent to the temporary memory 8 and is stored, and when the data relating to the department concerned have been all stored, the FF6 is reset. In case when the same department is registered continuously, it is unnecessary to make the host cash register send a data, and therefore the FF6 is not set but the regular department registration is executed. |
