PURPOSE:To change a range of underwater detection freely, by changing a running speed of a recording head by changing over a running mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic-wave pulses are transmitted from transmitter-receiver 1, simultaneously running mechanism 26 runs recording heads 15-17 from one end of recording paper 24 to the other end. Then, AD converter 5 converts the signal that receiver 3 has received into a digital output to supply to recording heads 15-17 via decoder 6. Switch 10 changes over running mechanism 26 to change running speeds of recording heads 15-17, so that the range of underwater detection will be changed. In this case, delay circuits 8 and 9 are optionally changed over corresponding to the switching in running speed. |
