Disclosed is a valve device for metering volumetric flow, said device facilitating a load-dependent supply resistance and having two discrete switching positions. A switching pressure for transferring a switching element of the valve device from its idle position into its working position can be set independently of the supply pressure of said element. Also disclosed is a slide bearing assembly comprising at least one valve device of this type.
