The handling equipment is used for bulk material such as fodder or textile fibres. It has a vertically pivoting jib (13) fitted on a tractor (1) and a gripping tool (4) such as a fork at the end of the jib, with an ejector tool (5). The jib can be lengthened and shortened and turned in the horizontal plane. Jib length is altered by a ram (19) acting on pivoted arms (16,17) connected to the end (12) of the sliding jib part (10). Tilting of the jib is controlled by another ram. Further rams can be used for controls.
