PURPOSE:To prevent noncoloring of a tertiary color and improve ink transfer and save the amount of primary color ink by making the under color removing amount from three primary colors large when the grayness of color separating signals is large, and making the under color removing amount small when the grayness is small. CONSTITUTION:The color original mounted to an original cylinder 11 is scanned in a reading part 10, and the resultant three primary color signals Y, M, C are corrected in a masking correcting part 20 and are inputted to an under color removing part 30. In a grayness calculating part 60, the grayness signal G is inputted to a UCR% controlling part 70 based on the grayness reference signal S and the black amount signal K. The output signal of the part 70 is inputted to a removing black amount calculating pat 45 and a black ink amount calculating part 75. When UCR% is low at this time, the black amount is made low, and when the grayness is lower than this, the black ink amount is made small, whereby noncoloring of the colors is prevented. |
