PURPOSE:To replenish a developer rapidly and easily without leaving the same in a replenishing device by consisting the device with a cylinder housing the replenishing developer and an outside cylinder which has an opening in part of the circumference and is fitted to said inside cylinder, and providing a developer scraping member freely rockerably on the outside of the inside cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The replenishing device consists of an inside cylinder 3 having an opening in part of the circumference and housing the replenishing developer 2 and an outside cyinder 5 fitted onto said cylinder 3. A developer scraping member 14 is mounted to a revolving shaft 13 which is supported freely rotatably in the inside cylinder 3 on the central axial line in the inside cylinder 3. Thereupon, when this replenishing device is mounted to a developing device and the developer is dropped by putting the openings of the inside cylinder and the outside cylinder together, the scraping member is pushed by this developer and assists the dropping of the developer while scraping and agitating the same. As a result, the bridging of the developer in the opening is prevented and the developer is replenished rapidly and easily. |
