PURPOSE:To lessen the space for a magnetic sensor, by detecting two reference crank positions in an engine with a single magnetic sensor. CONSTITUTION:Continuous pulses are obtained from holes 21, 22 by using a single magnetic sensor 2. Electric charge is started to a capacitor from the point when a preceding pulse is generated and electric discharge is started from the point when a following pulse is generated. Outputting of an ignition pulse at the point when the discharge voltage attains Vs can obtain an ignition timing characteristic varying in such a manner as from thetaL to thetaH. Since the continuous pulse detected by a magnetic sensor is separated into 2 pulses by adopting the output of the magneto and a logical sum, the space of the sensor can be reduced. |
