PURPOSE:To make adding operations sure and easy by making a processing unit judge whether the number of samples on a measuring scale which digitizes a voltage that represents the weight of measured samples and displays the value is insufficient or not through prescribed operations and, when insufficient, displaying the number of samples to be added. CONSTITUTION:A voltage into which the weight of N samples mounted on a scale tray 1 is converted (3) is digitized (4) into weight data W and input to the CPU5. The CPU calculates W/N from the number of the samples, N, input from an operating part 7, obtaining the unit weight U of the sample. Next, the CPU compares the W with the reference sample weight A which shows the minimum sample weight which limits the error of numbers due to quantization error in the AD conversion within a certain rate. In the case of W>=A, the unit weight U is displayed (6) and the measurement of the number of measured samples becomes possible, and in the case of W<A, the CPU computes the number of samples to be added, M, from the operation of (A-W)/U and displays (6) it, therefore, by adding M samples to the scale tray and repeating the above operation, the insufficiency of samples can be solved surely and easily. |
