<p>The multi-directional vibrator comprises two eccentric masses secured to pulleys (7,8), the latter coupled to hydraulic motors (1,2) supplied in series or parallel by a common pump. The spindles of the motors also drive auxiliary pulleys (12,13) coupled together to cause the rotation in opposite directions, and also to keep the driving belt (11) taut. This keeps the motors in synchronism at all times, giving a constant star-shaped polygon vibration pattern in all directions.</p> |
