<p>Outlet filters are replaceable in an extruder with barrel/screw, using a movable cross-holder in guides on each side of the barrel, this holder has at least two movable filters and a ring on the screw side to seal it against the guides. The ring is a metal tube, its ends fit to the holder and a shoulder on the barrel respectively, and its i.d. is convex in section. Filters are suitable for very high temp. melts and provide tight seals.</p> |
