Windscreen water duct for van cab - has elastic gutter strip bolted along upright edge of windscreen

The water duct for fitting up the two sides of a cab windscreen has an elastic profile (7) bolted to the windscreen frame (3) and forming a streamlined water duct (9) up each edge of the windscreen. The upper end of the duct is shaped to fit into the roof curvature and covers the side gutter, as well as a shallow groove along each side of the cab roof to guide water over the doors. The duct is bolted in place via tooling holes (8) through the hollow profile frame and forms a low drag fitting. Wind noise is reduced and no injury risk sharp edges are exposed. The duct is shaped for large utility vehicles with upright windscreens, and prevents water spilling over the side windows and doors.
