The invention relates to a consumer centre for a secondary connection of heat consumers to a regional heating centre. The consumer centre has a storage container (17; 37) which is arranged in series with a control valve (30) between a supply pipe (6) and a return-run pipe (7) in the secondary connection. Radiator systems and/or pipe hot-water systems are connected to the container. The control valve (30) is controlled depending upon the energy extracted from the centre.
