<p>The articulated lorry trailer is fitted with a pair of rear road wheels and a front leg normally stowed, to support the trailer off the driver. The trailer is made from a frame having top and bottom longerons (8,9). The side panels (11) of the trailer are made of a flexible material to withstand horizontal deformation. The frame is furnished with two lower joists (6) with lower flanges tracking onto the guides on the driver. The frame has front upright supports (9) and similar supports (10) at the rear.</p> |
