<p>The lighting circuit includes a control for the vehicle lights connected to the main lights, and also linked to the signalling lights. A switch sensitive to the acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle controls the mode of operation of the lights. In one position a relay switch is changed and only the main lights are operated. In the other position the main lights are connected directly to the supply, and the relay switch is released so that signalling lights may also be operated. The circuit is intended to save energy when driving at night, reducing the number of lights in use when all are not necessary. The appts. also reduces eye strain on other people by reducing the constant glare of lights.</p> |
