The bignone Campsis Radicans has characteristics transmitted asexually, so that it can be propagated ad infinitum by taking cuttings. The plant is 20 to 25 feet high with smooth branches shooting upwards. The flowers average 7 to 8 cm. in length, and are of bright deep red colour with a shiny external surface.
