PURPOSE:To make % calculation only when an input datum cincides with a preset data to prevent wrong % calculation by inputting an optional % rate data or a rate number data which assign rate data, through a registration key and single operation key. CONSTITUTION:Registration keys 2, a division key 3, a price key 4 and a discount key 5, etc., are installed on the keyboard 1 of an ECR, and various information input through the keyboard 1 are processed by a CPU10, and then, they are registered in an RAM14 in accordance with the program of an ROM13. A division memory 17, a sub-total memory 18, X and Y registers 19 and 20 and a rate memory 21 are installed on the RAM14. When % rate data are set in the memory 21, registers 19 and 20 are used by operating the registration keys 2 and discount key 5, and the dicounted % is stored in a % register of the memory 21 corresponding to the rate No. However, the % calculation is performed only when the data registered in the memory 17 are coincide with the data previously set in the % register. Thus wrong % calculation is prevented. |
