PURPOSE:The titled water ink with excellent light resistance and color reproducibility, giving a clear and blotless recorded product, which is prepd. by the incorporation of a specified azo dye. CONSTITUTION:0.5-4wt% at least one water-soluble dye selected from an azo dye of the formula [wherein R1 is (substd.)phenyl, alkyl, aralkyl, allyl; R2 is alkyl, phenyl, amino, etc.; Z is an arom. carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring containing at least one 5- to 7-membered ring, having a carbon atom bonded to N or a hydroxy group at a position adjacent to a position bonded to an azo linkage; n is 1-4; m is 1-3; n+m is 3-6; sulfo group is present as an alkali metal salt, ammonium salt, org. amine salt, etc.], a Cu, Ni and CO complex salt thereof, and 0.1-2wt% wetting agent of surface tension >=20dyne/cm and viscosity <=5cps in a 3-40wt% aqeous soln. at normal temp., are dissolved in water. |
