<p>A heat exchanger, esp. for solar collectors, consists of two flexible, parallel plates joined together by a flexible lattice which permits free flow of liq. between them; for a pipe connection an opening is provided in one plate. In the opposite plate, in the region of this opening, the outer face has a rigid plate fixed to it covering at least the area of the opening. Pref. materials are plasticised PVC for the two plates, and rigid PVC for the strengthening plate. This arrangement prevents bulging of the plate in the region opposite the pipe opening in the case where internal pressures are comparatively high.</p> |
